I'm now also involved in CMIP6 work, having led some experiments for AerChemMIP using UKESM1, and a multi-model evaluation of tropospheric ozone in CMIP6 models. I also enjoy using box modelling approaches to ask questions at smaller scale. Recent work has used UKESM1 and UKCA, looking at the impact of modelled stratosphere-to-troposphere transport of ozone on the ozone budget and methane emissions and climate interactions. My research interests are in atmospheric composition and chemistry-climate interactions. I rejoined in 2016 and now work for Alex Archibald and John Pyle on issues around Long Term Global Change using global models. I first joined NCAS in 2003, when I worked in the Distributed Institute for Atmospheric Composition on aerosol science until 2009. I am an NCAS Research Scientist and Senior Research Assistant at Cambridge University.
